I was on expensesso I should get most of the money I spent on food back. But probably not all of it, since they'll pitch the expenses at German prices, which are almost sane. Plus Oslo paid for my hotel and it was an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, which saved me a fortune on lunches. :)
I'd say I've got about a 30-40% chance of getting the job and I'll be utterly delighted if I do. And even if I don't he wants to work with me on some of my stuff anyway -- and since he's got a 100+ core supercomputer with loads of cycles going free I can start throwing my ludicrously inefficient codes around and actually get results. So even if I don't get that job I'll be ahead. If I do I'll be spunking in my pants for a week. (Then I'll move to Oslo and see all the girls walking around and do the whole thing over again. They're big on black leggings and boots at the minute. It's a dream, I tells yer.)

Haha I'm really not sure. It seemed like ordinary death metal on the (quite small) stage and, whilst I can't speak for everyone there, I can testify that at least a couple of the girls there were straight...I think it might have been in connection with a gay rights march that was also going on in the city that day. Maybe.
