Am wondering how many people haven't heard this ol' tale before?Joseph (not his dad Joseph, but the other one) was a tin/copper/cockmeat merchant and brought him over. Glastonbury Abbey is built on the site of a much older church which was said to be built close to the location they landed. The Arthurian legends claim he returned after Jesus' death and build said church (then hid the holy grail nearby, no less!).
(am actually in Glastonbury next week, funny timing).
