haha, i love xkcd.
I think someone beat me to it though. That and I cant get the faceless emotions right :/
I'm quite proud of my MS paint, mouse drawn toff though: www.b3tards.com/u/21a2cb50467017ac3eb1/goodday.jpg (i'll not clog the board with pictars).
I'm also going to get cracking on a wee animation idea that popped into my mind after an astro lecture today :)

aww i like him
he looks like a posh, shy nerd
astro lecture? hmm. there's no money in astronomy, you know. take it from me...

tehehe. tah
yeah, it wasnt the proper astrophysics lecture, but a talk by one of the awesomest lecturers in the department about extra terrestrial life.
He basically said that its possible that in the very distant future the Matrix could exist. Which sounds awesome.
Well it would be cool to work for NASA or some shit like that, but a physics degree can get you places. Are you head of the European Space Program or something? :P

Alas, no
I quit astronomy after two years because I got sick of error bars about twice the size of the graph itself, and then ended up in... cosmology, where we have error bars about four times the size of the graph itself. And statistical proof that it'll NEVER GET BETTER.
I want to retrain as an explosives modeller and do simulations of what happens when you fill a fridge with semtex. Now *that* would be fun.

Ugh
I want to think that if you just ignore error bars they go away. Errors and such are definitely the work of the devil.
That WOULD be fun. You could even go "Brb, just checking that my simulation is accurate. If we have any fridge related terrorist attacks, we'll know who to look for.

I'm purely theory
yes
*shifty eyes*
also, theory means that i ignore error bars with impunity. error bars are for observers. THE FOOLS.
