# You can use Import Video to Frames if you have Photoshop Extended
but if it's a gif you have to navigate to the containing folder and start typing the name of the gif only then will it pop up and be selectable - allowing you to import the full gif fully playable.

maybe you already knew this but I threw it in as a general tip for others.
