It may be three. I don't know if City and Colour is a band, or if City is a band and Colour is another band.

# they have an interesting career arc
that's from their first album, back in the days when they were basically punk. over the next few albums they flirted with rem-like folk rock, then with u2-like stadium rock, then more rem, and then told the lead singer to fuck off and record his damned fucking folk albums under his own name so that they could get back to playing rock. he did (and they're superb too, if you like folk), they did.

they're still a great band, but the early stuff has a ramshackle charm about it.

Edit: There's something very early-mid 90s about them. They remind me quiet a bit of the Wannadies, actually.

I've got a phone interview for a job I really want. After they told me I shouldn't need a phone interview because they already know me.

Actually I'm going to have to go to bed now to make sure I can be up early enough to actually read over what I put in my application to prepare. Straylight only have 2 full albums but I have them both and I can't listen to much else right now. Except City and Colour and the Fratellis. As I said. x]
