You're right that without them the punk scene would've never kicked off as it did - I still cannot stand them.Punk-wise I tend to stick with Rudimentary Peni, Flux of Pink Indians, Void and Urinals.

In many ways yes.Although there was some great bands, just an awful lot of trashy crap bands.

Vaguely relatedI saw The Damned supporting Motorhead the other week, I hated the pop stuff but surprisingly the live gig was much much better.
