
One of my closest friends was pregnant, with that weird disturbing creature from Total Recall, and you could see its head sticking out of her belly and it looked fucking *angry*, and it would be born by tearing itself out of her. And she didn't seem to know and I couldn't warn her and she seemed so happy :(

I went through a period of lucid dreaming a while back and sometimes it was really strange trying to work out what was real and what wasn't. *brrrr*

or try a lightswitch. Reading in dreams is notoriously difficult because if you try and reread a passage it will almost always have changed. It's also common for lightswitches to not work -- or not work properly.
I decided I'd not investigate the psychology of the dream I had. It was disturbing enough as it was.

Whatever the piece of equipment it would gain a life of its own and be unstoppable. When I was in college I read as much Jung as I could stand - I just kept getting bogged down in all the mandala stuff as I obviously couldn't make the same connections there as he could.

I am told this by people who have studied, and then grown disillusioned with, their approaches to psychology.
Me, I know jack shit. I'm just glad I barely have any nightmares anymore. I used to have one as a child that came night after night and was something to do with a swimming pool in a house at the bottom of my street. I have no idea what scared me.
