i worked in GAME years and years agoand i used to dread the christmas tape. Standing around serving chumps with 'last christmas' and other tunes destroyed what little christmas spirit i had back then.

In the high retailer I worked for for 8 yearswe had a three hour tape which alternated between christmas songs and party tunes (I mean PROPER stuff like motown, disco, 60s stuff), which was great.
To be honest, you're so fucking busy this time of year, you barely notice them after a few weeks
