I go through the occasional periodof being snappy and petty at people posting files that are 115k when without a significant loss of quality they could be 49k. We posted 50k images for years without struggling to much and I find it very hard to believe that superior software and advanced processors have suddenly lost the ability to employ exactly the same algorithms to compress below 50k, and that most of the time it's chiefly laziness.
Then I look at what I'm actually typing and find more important things to worry about. If I weren't such a hypocrite I'd even make sure my pictures were all 50k and below, but I'm a right hypocrite so mine tend to be about 99k...
