What with all the bad weather, we didn't visit any far flung relatives, or go on shopping trips or indeed venture very far out of the village, so instead spent most on the time at home in front of the fire, or at the pub with mates sat in front of the fire. RESULT!

Being one hour behind Daylight Saving time as we are in Queensland, the backward state.... sigh.

1.5 million were expected to watch the pretty explosions in Sydney Harbour tonight.
