But, I'm wondering how we'd deal with the tourism aspect. The tower of London has a rather nifty display of the Royal familys clothing and furniture. Presumably that will have to be changed every year as well.
I'm a bit dubious about how many Americans will want to take photos of my Mums formica kitchen cabinets, and my Grandads pants.

She's welcome in many places Blair and Brown aren't. The major royals also do an awful lot of functions and events. They're worth it even if only for the dollars they bring in...
