Thanks for the reply much appreciated :)I'm quite handy with PS and have had a look at a few tutorials, I always got the feeling that once you've cracked the surface the rest starts to flow from there, just need some proper time to get my head into it :)

Absolutely.If you're happy in PS you're halfway there. Once you've got the hang of the pen tool you'll be in.
