bamboo costs about £80 if you look around for it.It depends what you use it with really, its not going to make you an artistic genius if you're not, but it does enable you to more closely represent how you draw with pencils on the pc. Especially if you use illustrator.

That's what I'm looking for reallyan easier way to practice drawing without filling my room with crud (well, crap pictures) and wasting tons of pencils. I've got no illusions that it's going to make me any better than I am :)

How big?I bought a crappy bamboo for under fifty quid. It is tiny but give you a feel for it. I don't really use mine much after a bit of playing around with it, but I recommend giving it a go. Input devices are about choice and the worst I've used is a mouse, which everyone else uses. Try something else and see if it fits.
