# I think our electorate is perhaps a little better-off in some ways
as they would have a notion of who they were voting for as prime minister.

My problem is that one of the main streams of education is tabloid newspaper, which, rather than discussing political issues that should matter to the electorate, in order to make an informed decision, they prefer to focus on utter disgraceful drivel

Too much weight is given to the superficial, and not enough given to ability, competence, political stance, knowledge, etc.
