that all this bitching about politicians is pretty retarded. Which ever cunt gets in, it's not their fault. Blame the people who vote them in, they're the ones who should be lampooned and derided. I don't have any love for politicians, but a country gets what it deserves, and if they vote for incompetent retards, then that's their fault. That's one of the weaknesses of democracy, the people, on average, are not capable of making appropriate choices.

Then each group picks a leader, and the biggest group takes charge. Oh, and nobody should ever get re-elected.

I'd estimate about 90% of people who vote have no idea what their votee stands for, understands the implications of voting for that person, and simply ticks a box, ususally for the same party as they did last time.

Not wanting to compare our electorate to the US, but there was a poll in the states during their election where a shockingly large number of people thought a vote for the Republicans was a vote for Sarah Palin for President.

My problem is that one of the main streams of education is tabloid newspaper, which, rather than discussing political issues that should matter to the electorate, in order to make an informed decision, they prefer to focus on utter disgraceful drivel

Too much weight is given to the superficial, and not enough given to ability, competence, political stance, knowledge, etc.
