At the end of this month, I will have reached half my life expectancy, and I believe it's customary to celebrate this sort of thing.Unfortunately I haven't yet decided what this will entail just yet; all I can be fairly certain of is that it will involve a pub or pubs somewhere in That London. More details to follow when I get my act together.
To this end, I have decided to mark the occasion by retracing a pub route that my friends and I used to explore when we first moved to London. This route will (very likely) begin in The Carpenter's Arms, just near Edgware Road, and eventually take us to The Wenlock Arms (Old Street) via the St Pancras area. Specifics to follow once I've sat down with a map and a Good Beer Guide and worked out the best way to do it.
Latest update: the route has been plotted and can be found on one of these fancy google map things.
