Beach Break Live

For the students of B3ta...

30 universities signed up to attend. The idea is to grab you and a bunch of your mates to bop down to Cornwall and set up your own ‘mini village’ in a field surrounded by about 3000 other students.

Set on a stretch of land overlooking the infamous Polzeath Beach, Beach Break Live is in harmony with a love of festivals, waves, guitars at dawn and a desire to bring together everything we love about the summer with the UK’s finest upcoming bands (Including - Babyhead, The Barnaby Ray Quartet and The Tarka Groove Experiment)as well as superstar DJ’s such as Mr Scruff, DJ Format and Zero seven.

Your ticket will let you enjoy a whole lot of free camping, various marquees and ‘fancy urination stations’ spanning the length of one of cornwall’s sexiest beaches. Thousands of students will be making their way down to PARTY for three days non-stop, if you going to a festival this summer this is where you need to be.

USEFUL INFO

Line up
There will be plenty of quality music across multiple stages, such stylings as SKA, FUNK, REGGAE, BREAK BEATS, ELECTRO, D&B, HIP HOP, INDY ROCK and FOLK!!!!!!

Marques and teepees
There are a lots of smaller marques and teepees showing film screenings of cult classics and indy art house. A well as supplying you with suitable festival banter, stalls, comedy tents and the like.

Work-shops
There will be a bunch of workshops running so you can better youself whilst your there, these will include
- Fire dancing (or prancing)
- Surfing lessons – With Sam lamiory (super cool surfer) knocking about
- Kite surfingl
- Rock climbing and absailing
- Theatre performance
- Paintballing
- Breakdancing and DJ mixing lessons
- Festivally Bant!

I addition as much splashing in the Cornish sea as you puny legs can handle.

Transport
There will be buses running from every university from about £20, or you can drive yourself. Check the website for more information.

Tickets
You can Book tickets via the website. They cost £65 (cheap for a 3 day festival) Make sure you put my name in to the promotion code bit, then I get commision! wheeee!

Boyf. & I are Polzeath regulars, but usually stay in the camping & caravan park (Lundynant)
Will check with him & rsvp. We're not students though (that was a long time ago!)

I can't go, boo, boyf. can't get the time off work.

I will be going to the smoking thing in Ealing in london on 30th June & rounders in Hyde park in London in July though, so not all bad.
