...then thought it was pretty accurate of Daily Mail readers as well as Amercians.
Oh well.
Before the tide of pedants comes in that is a deliberate misspelling of 'Americans'

a conversation with a yank in some little Hicksville town in Missouri and he wouldn't believe Sherlock Holmes was a fictional character...
