Those are my roots too. I live in west London specifically so I can be closer to the green spaces.
But there's simply no place like it to pursue a career dream.
I'm not saying London is better than everywhere else (I'd love to be able to do what I want to do in a nice rural town, but the work simply doesn't exist there), just that people usually go to live there for a reason and realise they have to pay a price for it.
