but why did he get all defensive? He should have just said "Fuck those tramps, they stink"

I would have told them to fuck off and go and ask Starbucks why they practically don't pay tax in this country despite having a branch on every middle class high street

Common practice in journalism. "Look at this cunt squirm"

'Cos he invited them in for free publicity. The massive cunt.
Also, I take great issue with your phrase "sensible beard" (as modelled by Ian Watkins of LostProphets/kiddydiddling fame)
Starbucks point is spot on, however.

As for 'inviting them in', I doubt that. Channel 4 probably saw all the stories on the internet and thought they'd go and see what all the fuss was about. If press are invited to these things, it's rare that you get wind-up pointless cunts as this hack dishing out the questions. Normally a PR person is there to defend you against awkward journo stuff.

And he might have grown a beard for entirely practical purposes, to cope with extreme elements for example. He could be a part time north sea fisherman for all we know

I didn't say he was a cunt for seeking free publicity: There is a fullstop between those two sentences:
He is a massive cunt.
Separate self-contained statement: He invited Channel four in to drum up free publicity.

so despite your Michael Gove lecture about punctuation and full stops you skillfully avoid the thorny subject he could be wearing that beard for entirely legitimate reasons; such as being a part time north sea fisherman, deep sea diver, or Nepalese Sherpa, and not just a Shoreditch cunt.

Also: I have now re-watched that gove clip five times & am still grinning ear-to-ear.

we need more bell ends like Gove in politics, just to keep the pantomime in perspective

They just don't like to see people trying to make success off the back of a relatively simple idea. I don't see what all the drama is about, the profit margin will be miniscule compared to his high street competitors.
