Someone obviously didn't know how to brake a bit, turn, brake a bit, turn some more and then accelerate.
Still, at least most of the crowd probably got to see what they secretly went there hoping to see.

It was bumpy and thrashy and uncomfortable. But the perceived power of starting off was a blast. I can only imagine that the guys waving their beers from left to right as their favorite car goes by must have serious penis envy.

Just curious as to what the barriers are like, there seemed to be a lot of shrapnel heading straight for some of the crowd in the clip above.

The seating is considerably higher than track but it still seems like a bit of a risk sitting at the lower levels.

It's a crap sport but it looks like a great day out. They have barbecues and everything!
Personally, as someone who's not a huge sports fan generally but doesn't mind watching a bit now and then, I love going to sporting events. It's basically a big excuse for a piss up. I hate cricket, but if I was invited to a game I'd be there like a shot, because I love sitting in the sun and drinking.
I love greyhound racing too. I know nothing about dogs and rarely win money, but I'll happily eat scampi and chips, knock back a few beers, and watch them run around a track very quickly.

I like sitting in the sun and drinking too - however I dont like the deafening roar of 30 high performance engines or the acrid smell of burning flesh

round Rockingham and didnt even get into fourth gear, we used the infield track so no big straights to give it some welly, Incredible sound and the feeling of power as you max out the foot pedal is something to behold.
On a slightly worrying note on the way back to the pits i nearly trashed the car by forgetting it was left hand drive, as i pulled of the track and in to the school pitlane, nearly had the armco barrier in the radiator as i had lined up as if i was in the right hand seat.
