This is a link post Infographic of space ships speed
Not sure they got Red Dwarf right...I'm sure it went faster than light. Nice nonetheless.

This is a normal post Acceleration rather than top speed?
plus i'm guessing they meant scoop not scope...

This is a normal post fake
they didn't include the G-Force caused by a Northern Line tube train emergency breaking when someone leans on the door too hard.

This is a normal post It took just over 3 million years for The Red Dwarf to reach light speed
which is 670,616,629 miles per hour
670,616,629 / 3,000,000 = 223.5 a year
(223.5 / 364) / 24 hours = 0.025588 acceleration per hour

= pissflaps is a cunt.

This is a normal post Except it wouldn't
as it has mass
(, Fri 7 Aug 2015, 16:27, Reply)
This is a normal post
What has the mass got to do with the speed in a place where there is minuscule or no gravity pull? Also no air pressure?
(, Fri 7 Aug 2015, 19:57, Reply)
This is a normal post errm
nothing with mass can reach the speed of light, and nothing can exceed it, Regardless of vacuum.

Edit:

A simple video to explain, about 10 seconds in "Nothing with mass can move faster than light". Even in CERN they are only getting "really close" to the speed of light, but it's still not the speed of light.

I'm sure someone else can explain better than me, I'm not a scientist.

This is a normal post Lets not forget that this is a fictional space ship in a comedy :D
The original post was to question why The Red Dwarf was so slow, I just pointed out that at full blast it accelerated at a rate of roughly 0.025588 miles per hour using numbers I remember from the episodes and books.
