I have a few dairy farming friends, and the price some supermarkets are forcing means they are losing money on every pint, and it's not sustainable.
I understand that Morrisons have their own dairy farms and in order to produce mile at the lowest cost possible the cows are kept in doors all year round so they don't waste energy walking around fields to find grass to eat.

Would you prefer a return to the EU milk and wine lakes when milk was poured down drains to keep the price high, or turned into skimmed milk powder and "sold " to Africa to be used as baby milk ?

When I buy milk from the farmer, it costs 50 Cents straight from the pasteurising machine and it tastes AWESOME.
When I buy it from the supermarket it costs 40 Cents and tastes of nothing.

There's a cartel rigging the prices that needs breaking.
