I dropped my bike once
It came to rest with the front tyre just nudging the fog lamp on the back of the car in front. No damage, the lamp was on a gimble and it got rotated by a few degrees. Being polite and a nice biker I nonetheless swapped details with the car just in case. Turns out the occupant was an insurance broker and the next day I got the call from her claiming to be in dreadful pain after MY crash. She took one look at my insurance, where my job was listed as a physiotherapist. Needless to say I never heard from that one again. I have no patience for this kind of shit.
