Trumped up doctor's note?
Sorry for double-trumping, but apparently the Next President of the United States has released a letter from his personal physician which uses language curiously akin to The Donald's style of syntax and bombast.

He doesn't smoke or drink
and his father lived to the age of 93 so likely to be around for a while

Aye fuck he doesn't
but also, people who don't drink die younger than those who have 1-3 units a day, last time I paid attention.

Doesn't this seem like another one of those "when the other side does it, they're evil, but when we do it we're revealing important news"

Yes, well, pointing out one candidate's drawbacks isn't an endorsement of the other.
Poor Americans. What a shitty choice they've got to make in twelve weeks' time.

This doctor letter just reminds me of "journalist" Dan Rather's "discovery" of a damning report about GW Bush's military service
Typed in a font that was inherent to Microsoft Word, and thus wasn't around at the purported time of the letter. So many people poo pooed it away saying, "well, even though that may be a forgery, we know Bush got away with it anyway". Sigh.

Well, this was released by the Trump camp themselves:

That seems like a false equivalency.
Both candidates release a letter from their respective doctors claiming each is fit for office.
The veracity of Trump's letter is questioned and can't be verified.
The veracity of Hillary's letter is questioned and is verified by the doctor who wrote it.
A fake letter, claiming to be from Hillary's doctor, is circulated via conservative on-line media.

A video montage of her coughing while speaking in front of a camera isn't exactly a medical diagnosis. Seems more like one of those "seeds of doubt" things.

I missed the part in this where it said the doctor who wrote it refused to verify it.
It seemed to be a critique of letterheads, syntax and how the "doctor" who wrote the article wouldn't write a generic letter to the public that way. Where does it say the doctor refused to verify it?

Don't you find it the slightest bit odd
that the first person on said letterhead died in 2010?

and if we are lucky, we will remain on a letterhead.
