Except wasn't it him who said we are almost certainly living in a Matrix style illusional reality? If that's the case, why fuck off to Mars? Why not take us 'home'? Basically, pictures or it didn't happen.

This is a normal post Musk does have that habit that rich/successful people have.
They start to think they're qualified to talk about anything. A bit like people who have kids really.
