President Trump: We're going to fix Syria
Opposition: are you going to move on it heavily, or move on it like a bitch?

Where as Obama's approach to Syria has been to back Islamic fundamentalists
with the blessing of their Arab state paymasters. A policy Clinton supports

My original comment was not how I, personally, would solve the Middle East problem
but about how Trump can never have any political respect.

1. Pick a group of nasty scumbags and label them as the enemy.
2. Team up with some other nasty scumbags against them until this enemy is destroyed.
3. Look around for the next group of nasty scumbags to label as the enemy.
4. Repeat until you realise the problem doesn't seem to be going away.

There is a war created and funded by Gulf-states
and in the ugly world of politics, approved by us in the west, because we trade so much with those Gulf states and thus are broadly aligned with them. This is despite the slightly obvious fact the current ills of the world stem from the gulf states; decades of Saudi Arabian funding of Wahhabism throughout the world fuelling religious mentalists.
There's a slight trend here in who our enemies seem to be in the middle east, because they seem to be the enemies of Saudi Arabia, who we in turn seek to demonise and topple. The irony Syria was a secular state and the Gulf states are not shouldn't be lost on anyone, nor the fact religious mentalists have emerged from the religious ideology of those Arabian states. We have been basically backing the people whose hatred of us put planes into the twin towers, and all the crap their clerics preach.
