You really would have to be a dick to buy 7" singles
I didn't buy em when they were actually a thing as we had the Ezy Rider record n tape exchange where for a week's paperround money you could get two albums. Which you would tape. And then exchange for another LP. There was an awkward conversation with my mother about what happened to her rR3 recordings of the ring cycle.
