The fashion industry has always been the go-to choice whenit comes to addressing exploitation, sexual abuse and morals. Good to see them keeping up standards.

This is a normal post Well, Mr. Weinstein himself claims he is a victim of a vast right wing conspiracy

This is a normal post There's always someone else to blame for the people at the top in the US
Nothing is ever their fault and it's all a conspiracy, not that they are poisonous disgusting fucks with no moral compass.

This is a normal post Personally, that any of this is surprising to anyone is beyond me.
In the US, basketball, football athletes, and singers and actors are not really who I would look to for morals. I think this is only news because many of those same people seem to have selective outrage

This is a normal post I think with all the air time given to people like Madonna and Cher denouncing two men bragging about girls, it had to happen
The NYT had the same story in 2004 and they spiked it after complaints from Weinstein's people, which included calls from Matt Damon and Russell Crowe to the reporter. In other words, at least 13 of the 30 years of Weinstein's debauchery did not need to happen.

Madonna and Cher? You've totally lost me there, but then again I don't watch US TV.

Yep, it's the same with Saville/Heath etc. As long as the money/fame train keeps rolling, they'll be protected.

Why arent these celebs publicly condemning this sex pest? Perhaps because it's just a bloke they worked with once and they dont feel it's any of their business?

No, massive communist conspiracy again obvs.

They seem to spout off about many things that really aren't their business. And I think you mean right wing conspiracy.

I merely think Judy Dench should be free to offer or withhold her opinion on whatever she sexpest she likes. A right I'd extend to almost everybody outside a courtroom

This is a normal post I agree, unless Dame Judy Dench was supporting a particular political party or candidate, which my examples were.

This is a normal post I think, since you brought her up, she did issue a statement after a few others had
"Whilst there is no doubt that Harvey Weinstein has helped and championed my film career for the past 20 years, I was completely unaware of these offences which are, of course, horrifying and I offer my sympathy to those who have suffered, and wholehearted support to those who have spoken out."

Sheesh, who knew you had such a bone for Dame Judy?

This is a normal post See! This is the crap that makes a story about a boorish person into clickbait.
It seems the only safe space for anyone these days is to wait a bit to see which way the wind blows then jump on whatever bandwagon seems to have the most people.

As Dio put it so well, "when you listen to fools, the mob rules."

This is a normal post It's a lovely position to declare any news source that disagrees with one's point of view as illegitimate.
Indeed, had Drudge not been around to break the Clinton scandal, it may have never been reported. Wake up sheeple!

It's certainly not foolproof but if even Wikipedia discounts you as a credible source you're probably doing it wrong. That having been said the Daily Mail is hilarious.
