Some of it is patently absurd, "...a complete understanding..." of any involved subject, is virtually impossible.

She seems to think the subject is complicated enough
to warrant thinking about in depth.
It isn't. It's very simple. And thus boring after about 2 minutes.
Weeding out the people who don't think about it, is simply weeding out people who already understand it and who will find her exceedingly tedious.
