Mrs V has said her phone is getting slower, despite chucking out unnecessary apps and all the maintenance tasks you're supposed to do. Looks like a battery replacement will get it back up to speed.

Can't believe the battery degraded that quickly. Waiting for a software hack to get rid of this "feature"

This is a normal post On the other hand, I've just been given a Nexus phone because the battery life was shite
and I can replace the battery for just £10, which makes for a very cheap smart phone.
