
i remember when there were episodes that made me laugh so much my stomach hurt - now not so much, also the film was only average..

..especially since they were able to use more family-unfriendly humour.
I know there's a debate about how Family Guy has copied the Simpsons over the years but I think that's all bollocks. The Simpsons seems to be turning into Family Guy by constantly using slapstick in the wrong places and making references to people nobody else besides US Citizens have heard of.

1. If it was four seperate episodes, they would probably be seen as the four worst episodes ever.
2. If it was a live action comedy about a dysfunctional family (as in, one that weren't a representation of the Simpsons) the plot would be critisized to hell.

The best bit in the movie had to be Homer getting sucked SLOOOWLY into the sandpit....
I laughed more than i have ever laughed at a Simpsons gag.
