A fine, fine piece of work!
Those ships tie in with how I imagine most of the ships in Iain M Banks books to look, have you read any perchance? (Culture novels) If not, I get the feeling you'd like them from watching that!
Am just getting into 3d anims myself, and feel wonderfully inspired watching that, very nicely done :)

I haven't read any Banks to be honest.
Maybe I will check him out.
Flight of the Navigator is also one of my fave movies. Inspirational for my ship design? I would say yes.
