seems a bit pointless. It's just Doctor Who with swearing and gay bits. It's like it's trying to be ever so daring, but we are all used to seeing swearing and gay stuff on telly already.

seeing swearing and gay stuff on telly. What's the % of stuff on tv that's "straight and no-swearing"? A huge majority I presume ? As a gay swearer I say bring it on !

I consider myself liberal. I just feel that this particular program tries a bit too hard to be modern.
It's like if Dr who met Davros, then suddenly called him a 'flippin wanker' (then his assistant did it in welsh), then snogged him.

What do you mean by "modern"? obviously not liberal so what???

I have absolutly no idea what you mean by this so would like you to take this opportunity to explain it now, thanks?

Now I've got an image of snogging Davros in my head...
Mind you, there was an episode where he squirted white wee wee all over the place.
I've got a little bit of a problem regards Doctor Who. When I was a tod, the the Doctor was simply a childhood hero. Now I'm all gay and growed up, and they've stuck David Tennant in the role, there's a little bit of a phwoar factor involved.
It makes me confused in my manparts.
I also had a conversation with someone about Captain Jack the other day, and it was a full two minutes before realisation dawned that one of us was talking about Johnny Depp, and the other about John Barrowman.
