Believing that something is unlikely to be successful
is not the same as going out of your way to encourage it to fail.
I think you'll find there are very few remainers who actually want their country to get all fucked up, but I understand they're a convenient scapegoat in the event they turn out to have been correct.

Are you more or less likely have a good deal in a negotiation if you don't believe one is possible?

Pulling your pants down and presenting your bottom like an in season baboon was never going to do us any good.

It’s got about the same chance of delivering a successful outcome though.

That's the spirit. That's what I love about remainers, their unwavering negativity. You are all weirdly conservative too; a future beyond the EU is inconceivable to your massive brains.

Brexit: The only topic where pragmatic realism is considered a character flaw.

I think you'll find very many remainers would be delighted to settle with a fudged compromise where we remain in the customs union and have full alignment with EU regulation vis à vis trade. Worst possible outcome.

The worst possible outcome is almost certainly a hard brexit.

The referendum made no mention of a 'hard Brexit' or a 'soft Brexit'. These are just weasel word terms invented after the event.
