I think he acted like an idiot
I don't know if there's anything more to it than that. I guess we'll find out from the court case. I'm a big fan of SpaceX, and I'm therefore excited to hear his announcements and love his achievements - that doesn't mean I like everything about him. I wouldn't say he's a total dick - everybody does dickish things sometimes. I'm not buying the idea that he did it to deflect from other stuff either; sounds a bit tin-foil-hat to me.
Same sort of thing regarding the shares. Maybe he'll get a fine or something. Mostly, I hope it won't impact on crew dragon/Falcon Heavy/BFR developments. Crew Dragon needs to start test flights really soon, to hit the April first crewed deadline. And after last weeks Soyuz accident, that's even more important. (Yeah, Boeing too, but having two is no bad thing.) And I'm really hopeful we'll see another FH launch this year, and maybe even a first BFR test...although realistically, that's probably gonna be 2019.

And regarding the kiddy-fiddling,
I knew lots of the bar-girls in Thailand, as friends.I used to hang out with them in their homes, learning the language. I never met any that were under-age, and never saw any of that sort of thing. I knew one who was 18; I knew like, 50 others who were between 20 and 30 or so. A lot look much younger than you'd think they are. My Thai g/f was 32, and looked about 20. I got shit over that from tourists, thinking she was a young bar-girl I'd picked up... but she was almost the same age as me. (And worked as a cook, FWIW.)
I'm sure the under-age stuff exists, like it does in England, but I saw no evidence that it's prevalent. I did see it in Vietnam, and that seems to be much more of the destination-of-choice for the kiddy-fiddlers; not Thailand - in my experience, anyway.
I spent over 4 years in Thailand, and was not once offered the chance of under-age girls - despite being in the areas where you might expect those types of offer. I was in Vietnam for only about a month, and was offered such "opportunities" more than once.
I'm not claiming Thailand is perfect - far from it. It's corrupt as fuck. But I didn't see any paedo stuff, at all.
[Top tip, it's a lot cheaper to buy a bar-girl drink than to pay for a language course. The only problem is, you learn to speak like a bar-girl, so you learn slang, like "yip" for "yee-sip", 20 Bhat. So you sound like a cheap prozzie. Fun ensues.]

Hmm.
Two replies to a typically weak Frocker joke. Let's have a think here - post one defends Elon Musk.
Then it gets *really* interesting - a sort of apologia for prostitution in Thailand and a strange one at that.

Not apologizing for it
In England, you buy a girl drinks/dinner for the chance of a shag. What's the difference, exactly? The terms? Honesty?
Where's the line here? Something about an explicit contract, rather than implied?

Asked the nearest few
They said you're naive.
The boys did too, and a few handy lezzers. Not sure if that's relevent. Uncertain whether your remarks are sexist, as well as asinine.
Have you every bought a drink for a boy/girl? If so, why? Exact reasons? No thought about coitus at all?

Not an "incel", didn't know the word until you said it, and looked it up.
Yeah, I asked a bunch of people who are nearby. About 20. 2 lezzers, 3 gays. Ish.

So you're seriously telling me that rather than being perched on your bed in your mum's basement
you are actually in some bohemian salon where flicked the tip off your cigarette and said 'All human relationships are basically transactional - especially sexual ones, and if I buy you dinner, I'm at least due a blow job'
And *20* people including two 'lezzers' (I think round here in Brighton if you call a lady a lezzer you'll get one in throat, btw - it's problematic nomenclature) and three gay-sh and as one they said:
'Absolutely Cecil, you're so right as usual'.
Staggering.

Sound like you're in the basement
The lezzers say "Hi, he sounds like a bit of a cunt"
Did I say "All human relationships are basically transactional"? Check back.
You said, "if you call a lady a lezzer you'll get one in throat." People are not all the same. Their differences are not according to their gender or sexual preference. That's an important thing to understand.
Some black people are cunts. Who'd have thought it?
Some cunts have 1 arm; some cuntish people with a dick like to shag women.
Grow up.

I thought Sockcucker's remark "Some black people are cunts" might really kick things off, but alas, no.
