Skip to 1:15, you impatient bastards.
Chloe Chua, aged 11 strumming "The Four Seasons" (Winter) by Tony Vivaldi. Concerto No. 4 in F minor, Op. 8, RV 297, "L'inverno"
Rabbit-hole: 2SetViolin are talented fiddlers, who make nice videos (even if you're not into classical/violins). They talk about her being "Ling Ling" - the fictional Asian-that-is-better-than-you-at-everything. They also do stuff like getting top musicians to play left-handed/double speed, explain when TV fakes playing and suchlike.
More of Chloe.
Joint winner, Christian Lee (age 10).

Rabbit-hole warning
I'm not a music expert; far from it. I don't understand the nuance of bow technique or anything else. I'm not really that interested in it.
However, weirdly, beautiful music like the above makes me cry. That's really strange, but it's just something that happens.
I think we don't need to study music to appreciate it. It's guttural, ephemeral, even illogical. I'm not interested in studying the theory, but that shouldn't preclude appreciating the result.
I think that musicians, like teachers, are greatly under-appreciated. I've really enjoyed watching "2SetViolin" recently. Sure, they are young and arrogant..but they spend like 100 hours a week practicing, and then are blown away by a 10-year-old playing far better than they can... if they hadn't put in that effort, they wouldn't appreciate her amazingness.
Maybe we can all learn from that.
Maybe not.
IDK.
It's nice music.

about the rabbit hole.
I ended up looking for more of Maxim Vengerov (via a couple of click-bait japanese vio-you-tub[a|er]-linists , and came up with this:

[Linkage: your MV is this.]
He's in TwoSetViolin's ""Imitating Famous Violinists". Quite fun.
I mean
a) That's a rabbbit-hole shortcut,
b) "TwoSet" are young and a bit up themselves sometimes. But hey. They're kids. They are ridiculously talented, but showcase people far more ridiculously talented. Kudos.
c) I found Maxim Vengerov down that same hole, last night. IDK anything about it, but it makes me feel all tingly downstairs.
d) I've forgotten what I was going to say for this point, Your Veng video is playing, so it's emotional.
And now, the "Ray Chan" rabbit-hole beckons...

It does help me appreciate those who are good and I understand music far better than if I didn't play.

Me too. A new version just came out; tell your kids to go find a fox. They're in Taiga - where the spruce trees grow.

For an 11 year old, the skill and confidence displayed there are astonishing.
