69 Love Songs is the best place to start, I reckon.
Most of the songs are pretty short, so it's not quite the undertaking it sounds.

To my shame, I'd never heard Killing Joke's 'Night Time' LP before a week ago. Obviously I'd heard Love Like Blood and Eighties before, but that whole album is astonishing. They shoulda been bigger, they knew how to put a tune together.
