and love Quake. Happy days when we allowed at work after hours to boot up a Q2 server and have a frag fest with silly skins and mods. Happy days.

It doesn't look that great, to be honest.
Coincidentally, I just played Quake II and was struck by how good it was. The complexity of the levels and the straight ahead, rattling good game play still outclasses a load of much newer, fancier looking FPS games which are simply dull.
