Sorry I'm late, I've been hungover.

Very interesting video. I was aware of most of it although it's cool to see how the scale incorporates all those different types of chords.

As you know I love death metal, and tech death can be either (neo)classically oriented, or jazz influenced, or a mix of both. The Octotonic scale is widely used in the genre to create those chord progressions outside of the functional harmony I mentioned yesterday.
