In the sense...
...that a violent man can carry out a violent act, and have his male violence recorded according to his nebulous sense that he’s not a man, I think it’s pretty damned problematic really

A Guardian obit isn't a police record,
but since he and his wife held the belief that they were a single genderless entity inhabiting two bodies, I would hope it be recorded that they threw half a breezeblock each.

That’s why my original post referred to “left wing orthodoxy”
Rather than the recording of crimes.
The point is that it doesn’t seem very progressive to report and record male violence according to whether the male in question prefers to see his personality as somehow, to some degree, female
