It was a box with about eight little sounds/loops made by a lovely Dutch chap. I would like to hear similar with all those greetings cards.
(There's a great story about a couple who had to move out of their house when their musical birthday card fell down in an inaccessable crack in the wall and kept on playing)

we used the works from card samplers in a few sound installations
one was a bunches of electronic musical flowers that sang their colours in some kind of harmony.
another was a hundred or so of them buried in a park with various notes and percussive sounds coming out of them.
the latter was done at night time and quite unnerving as you walked around the field.
