I told my kids it was just on the news that coronovirus had been called off and they had 15 min to get ready for school
I waited until they were at the door with uniforms on before springing it on them.
Took a nice pic of their faces, but I won't post, as I sometimes get into online arguments with some of our more stalky b3tans, bless 'em

If I had kids I would use ice cream to get them to take their medicine.
I would say "That ice cream was poisoned and you have 20 minutes to live"
When they panic I would offer them the antidote.
