This is a link post Coffee mornings
A bunch of neighbours on this small road make themselves a coffee at 11AM, then stand on their doorstep to drink it and have a chat, at appropriate distances.
(Sorry, I couldn't find it on YouTube so this links to a Guardian page.)

Seems like a bloody good idea. Maybe it'll catch on.
