Wondering if the guys attitude negates the smashing in of the door, the lack of PPE on the police or the reason he gave for not opening the door.
I have been searching for the back story to this to no avail, there must have been more to this for 4 cops to turn up for a noisy neighbor complaint,

they said 'disturbance' and were checking the flat like they were looking for an injured party
4 cops is probably standard for such a situation if they are available.
