This is a normal post Hi again.
Here is the video you reference, which includes every play and content I have seen in regards to the game. Please can you point out the reference with a timestamp? Ta.

I also notice the game remains on Steam, despite playing through it 9 months ago?

Thank you for your concern. Love you. x

I pointed out the reference in the screenshot above.
Is that not sufficient reason?
Are you claiming I faked that screenshot, or what?
You can play the game, and check for yourself. if you want.

Any normal human would run a mile from such a thing. You are continuning to promote it.

Maybe the clue is in the name, "YouBigNonce".

I am astonished that Steam have not removed the game yet, but that is not a reason to deny the facts.

It's a game about raping children. I told you that in September 2019. So, why the fuck is it on your channel?

This is a normal post Yes
I have absolutely no desire to go back to an old game. I have only ever done that once for a review. Thomas Was Alone, in case you're interested.

I use steam like a lending library - I follow their guidelines for uploads.

Here they are if you're interested:

As the largest game repository, and with a good track record of striking games from their books - I have to assume their integrity, as that's where I link people to.

This is a normal post What's all this about then?
dogbomb, do you promote a game about raping children on a youtube channel called You Big Nonce?
(, Fri 26 Jun 2020, 23:31, , Reply)
This is a normal post By that logic he’s promoted an awful lot of mass shootings
And also pooing in the shower.

This is a normal post By what logic?
dogbomb is accused of something, his responses don't seem very direct, this is the first I've heard of this particular b3ta paedophilia scandal so I just wanted to know what's going on.

a) He posted a video about a steam game in Sept 2019. "Phucker in the Woods" [1]
b) I checked the game out, and found it had a weird paedo vibe, e.g. specific claims shown in that image.[2]
c) I asked him politely to remove it.
d) He banned me from his chat.
e) I asked Steam to remove the game. So far, they haven't.[3]
f) I asked YouTube to remove the video. So far, they haven't.[4]
g) I am now hassling him here, 'coz I hate paedo stuff.

This is a normal post Just to again correct these points
a) yep.

b) Did you get that vibe from my video? Or did you go seeking it? I honestly didn't get it from my playthrough or it wouldn't have been posted.

c) You weren't particularly polite, and you started harassing other users in the Discord via private message.

d) See above. Another moderator timed you out for spamming him. Then banned you when you came back and started harrassing users.

e) OK.

f) OK.

g) Me too.

However, what I'm taking from this is a screenshot and your personal reading of it. You're offended, and that's OK.

My reading of it? It's a game which is poking fun at the visual novel style of game, which I tend to avoid in general because they CAN go incredibly close to the wire and there's a history of Japanese made games switching up ages as they translate to English. The "joke" that you posted is incredibly overt (and they need a better writer) but that's it. It's words which you are finding offensive.

There's no "aim to rape" or "minigame to have sex". If there was, you'd have found it. It's a throwaway line - and as I interpret it, intended to be a crass joke for those who know the genre.

It's a shit joke, and perhaps I wouldn't have posted the video if I'd gotten to that part. But I didn't. And the game remains on Steam and other platforms, so I'm assuming - rightly or wrongly - that the game is fine. I'm not going to play it any more, or watch any videos... because I've already wasted far too much time talking about it.

It's 1AM. I'm off to bed. G'night.

This is not "close to the wire".
It is a game about raping children.
It's not a joke.

No interpretation is required.
See the big-ass picture above.
Which I showed you 10 months ago.
Why the fucking hell are you trying to argue about it?
The game says it's ok to rape children.
(, Sat 27 Jun 2020, 1:36, , Reply)
This is a normal post this game allows would-be paedophiles to catharticly act our their fantasy in a safe, simulated victimless environment of a video game
by attempting to block or censure this vital release valve, you're effectively forcing rock spiders to perpetrate vile acts in real life on actual children, having been denied this safe space
you sicken me, sockcooker. won't somebody think of the children?!

This is a normal post He played the first part of a game,
that is free on steam, that a lot of other people have played considerably further.
Later on that screen cap takes place, at a point in the game that Dogbomb didn’t play, so isn’t in his video. Apparently this game and all content is Dogbomb’s responsibility? ( See also my comments about what the game is parodying, this week and last week, if you want to be really really bored, I’m not arguing with Sockcooker any more, it’s utterly pointless)

Whereas DB definitely has played plenty of games where he shoots a lot of people (usually accompanied by “knacked him!”) and one where he hoyed a load of shite out of the shower, which was one of the funniest I’ve seen for a while at the time.

I like Dogbomb’s videos, I think Sockcooker is being an idiot.

Sure, he wasn't aware of it.
Until I showed him.
His reaction was to block me from commenting.
He has repeatedly refused to remove it, even now. Despite a full knowledge that it encourages child rape.
That, coupled with the name "You Big Nonce", triggers alarm bells for me.

This is a normal post if only other people stood up like you, sockcooker
if they just showed enough persistent and overblown indignation against a youtube game reviewer with 42 views who once reviewed a foreign steam game that has a crass paedophile joke in it though the review doesn't reference it at all, we could end paedophilia for good!

This is a normal post Nup.
I played a free game, for 15 minutes. I saw nothing untoward other than some dodgy graphics and some weird Russian. Apparently there's a conversation in the game later which is offensive to some. *shrug*

So?

This is a normal post As denial go this seems quite vague....
Let me try to afford you more clarity:
1 - Are you YBN?
2 - Does YBN stand for You Big Nonce?
3 - Is the free game you played for 15 minutes the "Phucker" game?
4 - Is it a paedophile simulator and did you know that before and/or after you played it?
5 - Did you knowingly publish a video of you playing a paedophile simulator?

I'm not accusing, just asking because I genuinely want to know. Cheers.

This is a normal post I'll answer before I go sleep. Hi!
1. I'm not. It's a collective. I'm probably the most active.

2. Yep. It comes from Halo 2 on xbox games, where we would shout it at other "clans" because we were kids, it was funny, and generally americans had no idea that it was offensive. It became a term of endearment.

3. For this particular instance, yes. I do them every week however, a mix of free and paid indiegame reviews. I tend to do first plays, and record my first impressions of a game. I often do it whilst tipsy.

4. I don't believe it is. The description of the game didn't lead me to think it was, and the 15 minutes I played didn't lead me to think it was.

5. No. And never would.

Thanks for asking.

6. Now that you know it *is* a game about paedophiles, why do you contine to post it? For the last 10 months.

I think you need to provide proof or retract at this point.

Is the image above not proof enough for you?
Do you think that picture is fake?
What evidence do you want?
(, Sat 27 Jun 2020, 1:58, , Reply)
This is a normal post The picture is quite damning but you admit it's not a screenshot from dogbomb's video, so it's already out of context in one way, who's to say you arn't presenting other things out of context too?
I'm open to the idea that the game is not actually about raping children but includes themes of sexual violence - in the same way that GTA5 is not a sexual assault simulator but involves a character who is a violent sex offender.

I ran a search for reviews of the game and only found a page of various sites and videos with the same promotional spiel, the YBN video, and b3ta arguments. I can't easily tell if it is what you say it is, and I don't really want to watch a video review if what you say is true.

You can't both be right and dogbomb seems to have responded to my questions reasonably, so from my perspective the onus is on you to prove that dogbomb, youtube and Steam are all wrong.

a) I faked the screenshot,

or

b) The game does not feature paedophilia?

This is a normal post Gosh
1. "Adult content that ins't appropriately labeled and age-gated"
Yes.
You are talking about a game called "Phucker in the woods".
Do you really not understand?

4."Content that violates" etc. - UK law prohibits games that feature underage sex.

5. "Content that exploits children" - ffs man.

[I have no idea why you think Steam's rules apply, but that doesn't really matter. Common decency applies.]
(, Fri 26 Jun 2020, 23:40, , Reply)
This is a normal post Exactly.
So I have to assume that the games I'm downloading don't breach this. It's age-gated and warns of:
Drug and alcohol use, violence, sexual themes, self harm.

This is a normal post Okay I’m out, this is as pointless as I feared it would be.
“[I have no idea why you think Steam's rules apply, but that doesn't really matter. Common decency applies.]“

You really don’t understand that Steam is the platform that publishes the game discussed, and that Dogbomb is concluding that as those are the T&C of the platform, that it complied with them.
