That particular album was suggested to me by an excellent librarian in my provincial library, during my teens.
I’m still grateful for that, since it expanded my musical horizon into an entirely different genre that I since enjoyed (if ‘horizon’ is not too big a word for Alanis Morrisette, my mum’s collection of scratched cds and various teenage-depressed rock-albums that I forced myself to hear since I was determined it would give me a bohemian edge...).

He did some very astringent free jazz stuff with Derek Bailey et al which is quite scary.
