Ah, but address the point
Would it be OK by you if Nazi pug bloke did a similar limp-wrists and dances number on 'Screaming' Joe Biden?

Right, this might be a bit nuanced...
... but what Serafinowicz did, and where the humour came from, was not “LOL what if Trump was GAY!”
The humour came from astutely observing, pre his actually winning the 2016 election, that we were all so quickly desensitised to Trump’s manner that just by *being* Trump, he got away with a lot of things that were under the level of “grab’em by the pussy” but we’re still batshit crazy. Taking his words and saying them in a different voice was a comedic way of actually highlighting the ridiculousness. I suspect that “sassy Trump” was settled on because Trump, despite his clear self image as a tough guy, is actually quite effeminate in his gestures. This made for an interesting portrayal, and maybe the only portrayal, of Trump that actually hit the right notes while caricaturing as aspect of his personality that is present, but that Trump himself is clearly uncomfortable with.

Well looks like cumquat's been KOd. And I have no argument with you. And brb below doesn't remotely understand nuance or the issues at play, and is painfully conscious of it. So let's wrap this up by hoping that America hires the gayest man for the job.

Not sure what you mean by "Nazi pug bloke", possibly a meme that's passed me by. But my answer would be "probably", as it takes a lot to offend me. I find a lot of my online arguments have a theme of "be less judgemental, more tolerant, we're all flawed in some way".
But I am a fan of humour, and I find bad jokes, or ones whose only humour is cruelty without redeeming features, a greater sin in my books. A gay dancing biden sounds pretty lame. Where's the humour? Is there anything being satirised? The exception are jokes whose humour derives from how over-the-top offensive they are, like 'the aristocrats', which are shared among people who have the intelligence to admire the offensive craftmanship without sharing the sentiments
