i get you tho, if he was banging along he could have flitted over if needed. but this twat probably wouldn't have even noticed and the result would probably be even worse lol. jesus where do these people get thier licences?

This is a normal post Altitude is helpful, but it's not as important as airspeed
Airspeed is what keeps the plane flying. Altitude gives you options in case of problems.

Airspeed but no altitude - OK. I can trade if I need to.
Altitude but no airspeed - I'm in trouble. I need to trade NOW.
