This is a normal post actually, according to the article the heads regrow bodies but the bodies don't regrow heads
so it's the latter, in the sense that the organism that persists with all its functions returning is the head. HTH

This is a normal post the headless body can keep going quite happily for several months, so it's not so cut and dried.
At least, not so dried. add to this the usual seasluggish detachable sex organs and hermaphroditism and it can get quite complicated who's driving the train

This is a normal post This always bothered me, growing up.
I always considered the "self" as being in the head, so you were never cutting their head off, you were cutting their body off.

Over the years I have painstakingly learned to have normal conversations too.
